The Umbria Club (Optometry) was founded in 2010 in the restaurant "Umbria" in San Francisco by three optometrists (Stefan Lahme, Michael Schwarz and Andreas Tsiounis).

The Umbria Club (Optometry) is the association for high quality advanced training in clinical optometry and vision science in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
